- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center - Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire through a competitive basis a leased local exchange access commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) supporting simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services for Naval Station (NAVSTA) Ingleside, Texas. A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated. The basic period of performance is from 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with two (2) six-month options. Requirement will be solicited as a commercial item using the special simplified acquisition procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5. Offerors must submit technical and cost proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Navy. The RFQ will be made available electronically, upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 7/17/2009 at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ number is N00189-09-T-Z074. NOTE: ALL OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED (HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV) IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR).
