- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract. This action is solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 324121 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. Award will be based on low price and technically acceptable. The proposal shall ---consist of one (1) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 01, Unit of Issue: Lot, Description: Cold Mix/Aggregate Material (procurement of road construction materials which includes aggregate and high performance cold patch material). Pricing should NOT include cost of transportation between White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and contractor's facility for contractors whose facilities are within a 65 mile radius of WSMR. For those contractors proposing whose facility is NOT within a 65 mile radius, please include transportation costs as a separate line item. THE STATEMENT OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ATTACHED TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. All quotations shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124Q-09coldmxagg, emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) below no later than 17July 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). In addition, all technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) below no later than 17July 2009, 9:00 a.m. MST. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
