- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to perform terrazzo floor system repairs located at the Pentagon Reservation, Washington D.C. 20301-1155. LOCATION: Pentagon Building, Three (3) Work Sites Work Site # 1. Floor 5, Ring “A”, Between Corridors 4 & 5, near 5A5 (50 SF) Work Site # 2. Basement Level, Ring “F”, Corridor 8, Outside Room BF849D (50 SF) Work Site # 3. Floor 1, Ring “A” ” Corridor 5, Outside Room 1A524 (40 SF) Remove and Dispose of damaged terrazzo floor surface material and divider strips. Removal of existing terrazzo material shall be accomplished by means so as not to cause damage to the existing concrete floor slab. Prepare existing concrete floor slab surface for thin set epoxy terrazzo flooring system materials. Before installation, floor surface must be free of all debris and foreign material. Furnish and Install thin set terrazzo flooring materials and new divider strip. Match the existing epoxy terrazzo floor fill material, guidelines, adjoining background coloring pattern design, and thickness and divider strip layout. All work shall match the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA) guidelines. Request for Quote (RFQ) will tentatively be issued 16 July 2009. This solicitation is restricted to small business only. The magnitude of this requirement is less than $25,000.00.
