Description

National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) – Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Missile Defense Agency (MDA), intends to issue a firm, fixed price purchase order using FAR Part 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” to National Defense Industrial Agency NDIA providing up to 100 registrations to MDA civilian and contractor support employees to attend the 5th Annual Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Industry Day. This conference is hosted by NDIA and provides a world-class, secure environment for all members of the SBIR/STTR team to meet and discuss key issues in enhancing the SBIR/STTR process for MDA and the small business community. Contract award is expected on or about 1 August 2009. The estimated value of this procurement is $26,000. The anticipated NAICS code is 813920, size standard $7.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responses received by 10:00 am Central Standard Time on July 29, 2009 will be reviewed. No formal solicitation package is available. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for planning purposes for a future competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
