Description
This presolicitation notice is being modified to remove the 100% HubZone setaside. This solicitation will be competed on an unrestricted basis. This project is to repair storm water runoff damage to the road surface and ditch. The intent is to restore the road to its original native surface character without disturbing any ground other than the roadway and drainage ditch. The Contractor shall recondition material to the specified depth and maximum size using machinery to manufacture the surface from in place boulders and bedrock in the road surface. This includes watering, mixing, blading, shaping, and compaction of the processed material into a smooth non-segregated, flat road surface. The work also includes repair and restoration of drainage ditch, removal and disposal of opentops, and removal and replacement of existing culverts as shown on the drainage summary or directed on-the-ground by the COR The project estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the bidder will render a bidder ineligible for award.
