An estimated price type contract is anticipated and will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 13.5. for $4500.00 3. Description o(Suuplies/Serviees. Repair-Wok gas analyzer, Siemens/Rapidpoint 45, SIN #07987, BE#72264 located in bldg 81, room 372. 4. Identii1catlontoruthor1V, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services,will satisfy agency requirements. 5. Demonstration of Contractor's Unique Oualificationst Manufacturer pf such equipment. Manufacturer of this particular equipment., and servicer of same. reasonabl to be ex e ted that another a dor could match performance, Patient care inunedinwit out this service. 6, Federal Business Qpportunities Announcement/Potential Sources, This acquisition was synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEBIZOPS) website on estimated date 7-10-09 in accordance with the provision of FAR Part 5. This is to let vendors know that this was awarded as a sole source for "urgent and compelling" and that if other vendors can step forward in providing the service stated, to please make known that they can meet future service needs. 7. Determination of Fair and Reasonable Cost. Based on the price information currently available, the contracting officer has adequate information to ensure that the cost to the government for this acquisition will be fair and reasonable.
