- IMPORTANT INFO!!! "This is a request for information. Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation is contingent upon the availability of funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on part of the Government for any obligation to contract or payment may arise until funds are made available and until the Contractor received notice by way of written agreement from the Contracting officer." This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. is F1U3S19068A005 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on July 15, 2009. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% Hub-Zone Certified. NAICS code: 333618. Size Standard: 1000 employees. This solicitation is for the following: Request five 4 stroke OHC 3 cylinder boat engines. The engines must be 808cc or close to it. They must also have a shaft length of 20" with jet and also have a 10 amp alternator. 3 Engines must also include controls with cables while other 2 engines have tiller steering. Comparable item is the Honda BF50AKSRJ (50/35 JET). You are able to quote this particular part or an equal item. Please provide detailed specs if this item is not quoted. Please include shipping, cost estimated if needed because of time of shipping, and shipping time. Also please include a statement with your quote stating prices will be good through 1 Oct 2009. The estimated date of delivery will be 30 Oct 2009 with FOB: Destination for delivery to 354 CES/CEOHA; Eielson AFB, AK 99702. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
