- In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4 and AMS Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement is to conduct a Market Survey for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors. The FAA is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing a Console to the FAA that conform to the FAA requirements. The required functions are identified in the attached Draft SOW and Console Specifications. The Console will be used at the Denver TRACON. This procurement will be less than $100,000.00 This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among 8(a) certified firms. This survey is open to all potential vendors, and the competition tiers are as follows: a)Socially and economically disadvantaged business (SEDB) expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program.b)Service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB).c)Very small business.d)Small business.e)Other-than small business. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: CAPABILITY STATEMENT: All responders must provide a Capability Statement that addresses the following (in order): a. Type of services provided by your firm. b. Size and type of services provided under previous contracts for console procurements that are similar in size and scope. c. Demonstrate the ability to meet each requirement identified in the attached Console Specification sheet. Identify make, model and accessories that meet these requirements. Failure to address each numbered requirement shall constitute a non-responsive expression of interest. d. ISO 9001 compliance. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: In order to be considered responsive, organizations expressing interest in this matter must provide the following: a. Capability Statement (as defined above) SUBMISSION FORMATS: Electronicto: darren.odegard@faa.gov NOTES: This market survey shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these items. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the Market Survey, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Responses will not be returned. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists at this time. It will be released after the results of this Market Survey are determined. The interested vendor's response must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. Seattle time on July 22, 2009. All responses to this Market Survey must be in writing, on company letterhead, and must demonstrate that the company can meet the requirements provided above. Submit any questions by email.
