Amendment 3- June 16, 2009 - Changed date the solicitation will be available on-line from early June 2009 to early to mid July 2009. Amendment 2 – May 19, 2009 – Changed date the solicitation will be available on-line from late May 2009 to early June 2009. Amendment 1 - May 4, 2009 - Added set-aside code for total small business set aside as stated in the paragraph below. The Naval Medical Logistics Command is issuing a solicitation for dental assistant services in the Northeast region of the United States, to encompass the following: Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes, IL; Naval Health Clinic New England, Newport, RI; Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA; Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, MD; Naval Health Clinic Quantico, VA; National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, MD; and Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River, MD, their branch clinics and other DoD or Coast Guard Military Treatment Facilities within the states of Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, the District of Columbia and Virginia. This is a competitive procurement for dental assistant services that will result in a Single Award Task Order (SATO), indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), personal services type contract. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. The contract will have a five-year ordering period. No RFPs will be mailed to offerors.
