- The proposed contractual action will be Firm Fixed Price to acquire the following custom configured hardware: QtyPart No Model/Description 32DH-086004-254-007-0072NTFOCA II Jam Nut Connector, LC leads, 72 inch 4DH-086004-247-247-0300FTFOCA II TO TFOCA II CABLE, 300FT W/DEPLOYABLE REEL 8706-001-02 Deployable Reel 16 x 7.5 modified The products and services is sole source to Timbercon, Inc. Tactical Fiber Optic Cable Assembly (TFOCA) II, is a unique fiber connection assembly following the requirements of MIL-PRF-83526. The assembly types requested from Timbercon, Inc. are custom configuration cables built to the MIL-PRF-83526 requirements and designed specifically to meet the requirements of the Aviation System Test and Integration Lab for form, fit, and function. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Requests for solicitation will be data faxed, email or by mail ONLY. PROPOSALS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR EMAIL, NO DATAFAX WILL BE ACCEPTED. This proposed contract is subject to availability of funds. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
