- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Florida Integrated Science Center ( FISC), Gainesville, Florida has a requirement for the replacement of facility discharge sand filters, re-piping and installation of new automatic valves and controls. Site visits with the Facility manager have been arranged for Tuesday, August 5, 2009 and Wednesday, August 6, 2009. It is highly recommended that the proposing Contractors visit the job site prior to submitting a proposal. RFQ 09ERQQ0529 will be issued on or about July 14, 2009 with written quotes due on or about August 14, 2009. The NAICS Code is 237110. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside The anticipated award date of the contract is September 4, 2009. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the government, using the best value concept, price and technical and other factors considered.
