- SYNOPSIS Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract for Maintenance and Technical Support Services for Motorola Trunked Land Mobile Radio (TLMR) to Motorola Inc, 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr., 3rd Floor, Columbia, MD 21046. The 94 CONF/LGC at Dobbins ARB, Georgia, requires 24/7 maintenance and technical support services for the existing Motorola Trunked Land Mobile Radio (TLMR) system located at Dobbins ARB, GA and at the Russell Federal Building, Atlanta GA. The maintenance services include Dispatch Service, Infrastructure Repair and Advanced Replacement, Onsite Infrastructure Response, Technical Support Service and Network Preventive Maintenance. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a), Only One Responsible Source (or a Limited Number.) Motorola's advance TLMR system is a one-of-a-kind system of which Motorola has proprietary engineering rights. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. Contact Gidget McCalpine for information pertaining to this requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought, including technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government will make a determination regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b.)
