- 42d Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will be issuing a solicitation for the renovation of building 1400 & 1400A, LeMay Center Maxwell AFB, Al. Work consists of, but not limited to, the following: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of the HVAC System and renovaton of the LeMay Center, Bldg 1400 & 1400A, in accordance with the specifications and applicable drawings. Project No: PNQS-02-1400. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before or after the closing date. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of information or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this pre-solicitation notice. This requirement is a HUBZone Program and will be competed among HUBZone companies within a 200-mile radius of Maxwell AFB, AL. Award of this contract will be made utilizing competitive best value source selection procedures in which competing offerors' past performance history will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101. Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. A bid guarantee will be required for this project. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $31,000,000. The entire solicitation will be posted on FedBizOps on or about 28 July 2009. All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) this can be accomplished via the web @ http://www.ccr.gov.
