- The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, transportation, material and all other required equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with the project titled "Refuse and Recycling Disposal" services at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System's (SAVAHCS), located in Tucson Arizona. This service shall encompass the complete pick-up and disposal of all non-medical waste refuse as well as applicable recycle materials. Complete requirements are specified in the Statement of Work. The period of performance is scheduled to be 1 Oct, 2009 thru 30 Sep, 2010 with four additional one year option periods available. This requirement is unrestricted and therefore available to all business concerns. The NAICS code is 562111. The corresponding size standard is $12.5 Mil. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in a commercial format in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 15 "Contracting By Negotiation," using specified Past/Present Performance/Price Tradeoff evaluation procedures as detailed in the RFP. This solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Aug, 2009 with an estimated proposal receipt date of 20 Aug, 2009. The exact date shall be stated on the SF 1449 upon issuance of the solicitation. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site listed at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be furnished.
