- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply and delivery FOB Destination, of a quantity of 22, HDLPE, black, 5000 gallon, vertical water storage tanks. 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to (520) 388-8332 or emailed to dgastellum@fs.fed.us by close of business July 31, 2009. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-33, Effective on June 15, 2009. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 444190 and the size standard is 500 employees. 6. Submit a detailed materials list with a unit price quote for each contract line item (CLIN) and total delivered price quote. 7. The unit price quote for each CLIN should be inclusive of freight and handling, and, if applicable, sales tax. The federal government is exempt from sales tax in most states, but is liable for 50% of the applicable state and local tax in Arizona. 8. CLIN 1.0, a quantity of 6 HDLPE, black, 5000 gallon, vertical water storage tanks approximately 152 inches high and 102 inches in diameter w/18 to 24-inch manway, one 2-inch PP drain fitting, and one 1-1/2-inch PP fill fitting for delivery FOB Destination to Douglas Ranger District, 1192 W. Saddleview Rd., Douglas, AZ 85607. CLIN 1.1, a quantity of 5 water tanks as per CLIN 1.0 for delivery FOB Destination to Nogales Ranger District, 303 Old Tucson Road, Nogales AZ 85621. CLIN 1.2, a quantity of 6 water tanks as per CLIN 1.0 for delivery FOB Destination to Sierra Vista Ranger District, 5990 W. Hwy. 92, Hereford, AZ 85615. CLIN 1.3, a quantity of 5 water tanks as per CLIN 1.0 for delivery FOB Destination to Safford Ranger District Storage Yard, 1480 W. AZ-366, Safford, AZ 85546. 9. Desired delivery date for all items is on or before August 31, 2009. 10. Quotes must include a completed copy of [FAR] 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, paragraphs (c) through (m). If the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov., submit only paragraph (b) from the provisions. 11. [FAR] 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes: Price, technical conformity to specifications, and ability to meet delivery date. 12. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Forest Service. The offer/quotation that is most advantageous to the Government, based on the factors contained in this solicitation, will be selected for award. 14. A single award is contemplated; however, the government reserves the right to decrease or increase quantities in accordance with pricing and availability of funds. 15.
