- The Northwest Division, Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks up to three contractors for installation of new Government-furnished digital governor equipment to retrofit up to 145 existing governors for hydroelectric units at 21 powerhouses in the Northwest Region. The Government's objective is to award a IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with up to three awards resulting from this solicitation. A Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) shall be provided for all new contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District. For this project the person that will act as the SSHO is required to have a minimum of 3 years safety work with similar projects and a 30 Hour OSHA construction safety class, or equivalent, taken within the last 3 years. The SSHO may have other duties for this work that include being the Contractor on-site Project Manager and/or the on-site CQC Manager or other responsible individual. This solicitation will be available to download on or about July 31, 2009. Procurement is unrestricted and open to all business concerns. The Task Order Magnitude of Construction is between $100,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The MATOC Magnitude of Construction is greater than $10,000,000.00.
