- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format of FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation has been enclosed. This requirement is set-aside only for small businesses. SSC PACIFIC San Diego is seeking competitive quotes for labor and material to modify an existing anechoic chamber in accordance with the attached statement of work, Qty 1 lot. Quotes shall be sent to gina.goodman@navy.mil and they must be received on or before the solicitation closing date (July 24, 2009), 5PM PST. Interested parties must include the solicitation number (N66001-09-Q-5129) in the quote. Technical questions must be e-mailed to purchasing agent up to two (2) business days prior to the closing date of this announcement. Reference Solicitation Number N66001-09-Q-5129 on any inquiries. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commerical Items will be used. Quotes will be evaluated and award will be based on the technically acceptable lowest quote. Submit past performance and technical capability information as stated in the solicitation package. The contract terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238310 and the size standard is $14.0.
