- L09PS00974- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - Agricultural Tractor Rental for BLM Ely District Office, located in Ely, Nevada This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. CONTRACTOR QUOTES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA FAX (775-289-1910) OR EMAIL (kim_ferguson@nv.blm.gov) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. L09PS00974. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This combined synopsis is for rent of one 4x4 agricultural tractor as identified below, including delivery to the Pony Springs Fire Station, within the BLM Ely District. The rental period is expected to be up to 5.5 months. However, due to weather conditions and other circumstances, the rental period could be as few as 3.5 months. Quotes should be based on monthly basis with understanding that the rental period may not be the entire 5.5 months. Contractors may submit more than one quote if alternative tractors are available. LINE ITEM 0001 - Agricultural Tractor: 3.5 - 5.5 months usageMinimum requirements to include:1-3/4 inch diameter 1,000 RPM spline PTO4-wheel drive75-Minimum PTO Horse Power2,646 LBS-Drawbar Maximum Static Vertical LoadCAB Air (Heating and Air Conditioning)3 Selective Control Valves (SCVs) for hydraulicsDrawbar not to exceed 2 inch thicknessDual Rear WheelsMonthly rates must include at least 160 operating hours LINE ITEM 0002 - Tractor Delivery - Tractor is to be delivered to the Pony Springs Fire Station no later than August 3rd, 2009. The fire station is located on US93 approximately 30 miles north of Pioche, NV. LINE ITEM 0003 - Tractor Pick Up (return delivery) - Tractor will be returned to the Pony Springs Fire Station for pick up.
