- RECOVERYThis is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to replace roofing of eight structures located at Olympic National Park. The work consists of, but is not limited to, removing and disposal of roofing material, installation of ice and water shield membrane, installation of jacks, counter flashing, drip edge, and snow breaks, and replacement of cedar shake or metal standing seam roofing. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business size standard is $14,000,000. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public law 100-656 and is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http:///www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 31, 2009 with a response date 30 days thereafter. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be held at the time and place specified in the solicitation. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hardcopies will be mailed or faxed. Any questions must be in writing and emailed to Rod_Roberson@NPS.gov or faxed to 360-565-3018. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments.
