- FBO Posting: Special NoticeSUBJECT: Purchase of Part #LH4000F, Retractable Wheel Ski Kit for a Found Aircraft Under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Aviation Management intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Found Aircraft Canada, Inc for the purchase of Part #LH4000F, retractable wheel ski kit for installation on a Found Aircraft. Found Aircraft Canada, Inc is the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holder for the installation of this part (SA02304AK-D). This announcement constitutes the only notice. The NAICS code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The sole source authority for this purchase is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Determinations not to compete this proposed procurement were made because Found Aircraft Canada, Inc does not allow the sale of their STC through a third party for this item.
