- Commercial Service: This requirement is for the drilling of an irrigation well at the upstream end of Hells Gate State Park near Lewiston, Idaho. The well shall produce 480 gallons per minute, be cased to bedrock and will start out at 12 inches in diameter. The materials to be penetrated at the well site are expected to be overburden and basalt bedrock. It is expected that the well may be required to be 600 feet or deeper. Performance of a 24 hour pump test to determine yield will be required, and water samples for chemical analysis shall be taken prior to the end of the pumping test. The well will be tested for alignment and sterilized prior to completion. All drill cuttings will be gathered and placed at a location nearby. With the exception of the well, the site will be returned to its natural condition. Solicitation number W912EF-09-B-0021 will be posted to the FBO website on or about August 3, 2009.
