- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a sole source basis, to Eaton Aerospace, LLC, Los Angeles, CA 90039. This acquisition is for the procurement of V-22 Aircraft flight-critical Depot Units Under Test. To be procured: Quantity 2, Winch Hoist Control Module, Part Number 70528-3, NSN 014873406; Quantity 2 Master Brake Cylinder, Part Number 71720-5, NSN 014183263. Eaton Aerospace is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the equipment, and their parts are the only parts that have been qualified, tested and meet the V-22 Aircraft tolerances. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Reasonable Source”, therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. The procured parts will be delivered to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey 08733. Delivery of Part Number 70528-3 is 12 months after contract award; delivery of Part Number 71720-5 is 6 months after contract award; early delivery is acceptable. A determination not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 22 applies to this procurement.
