- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firmed fixed price purchase order to GENOMIX BIOTECH, 2620 Braithwood Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30345, for the following: 1) TUBE Scanner (Product ID GE1); and 2) Micro-Titer Plate Reader (Product ID GE2). CDC believes that this requirement can best be provided by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
