- SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE DUE BY 20 JULY 2009 The 55th Contracting Squadron, located on Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is conducting market research concerning the purchase and installation of a Chilled Water Cooling System ("Cooling System") (Suggested Source: Liebert Model CW026DCSA2 or equal) for the 14th Weather Squadron ("14WS") located in Asheville, NC. The particulars of this requirement are as follows: • Purchase of the Cooling System. • Installation of the Cooling System will require at a minimum the following tasks: o Chilled water lines with valves. o Condensate drain line to floor drain. o 480 volt power on third floor electrical room. o Start up and quality assurance testing. NAICS Code is 423730 with a size standard of 500 employees. Prospective firms should notify this office of their interest in this notice and must indicate their SBA Size Standard and provide descriptive literature or other documentation. Prospective firms are asked to please notify this office immediately if they do not intend to submit a response to this notice. Responses to this market research should be submitted electronically via email addressed to mary.thomsen@offutt.af.mil. Responses should include the following: • Identification of SBA Size Standard, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or if you are a small business, a self-certification; • If you are a Section 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval; • Proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on 20 July 2009. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market research nor return the data provided. The results of this research will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
