- Description
- The VA Medical Center Erie, PA intends to award an A/E contract for design of project 562-09-106, Interior/Exterior Signage and Wayfinding. Design is to be completed in accordance with attached scope of work and in full comliance with applicable codes and VA design guidelines. A/E Firm must be capable and experienced with the expectations of the Scope of the Work. Interested and qualified A/E Firms are invited to submit SF330 no later than close of business 8/10/09. SF330 is to be sent to the attention of Stacy Schwalbendorf, Contracting Officer (562/90C), VA Medical Center, 135 E. 38th St., Erie, PA 16504. Estimated construction range: 250,000 - 500,000. Award is set aside for emerging small busineess (see definition below) and is subject to the availability of funds. Inquiries must be in writing via e-mail to stacy.schwalbendorf@va.gov "Emerging small business," as used in this subpart, means a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to a contracting opportunity. "Emerging small business reserve amount," for the designated groups described in 19.1005, means a threshold established by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy of-- (1) $30,000 for construction, refuse systems and related services, non-nuclear ship repair, landscaping and pest control services; and (2) $50,000 for architectural and engineering services.
