RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912CZ-07-D-0007. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE Regional Contracting Offices existing 8(a) ID/IQ contracts W912CZ-07-D-0007 Tatitlek Contractors, Inc. 561 East 36th Ave. Anchorage, Alaska 99503 The Army Regional Contracting Office is seeking a proposal to furnish all supervision, labor materials and equipment needed to for the removal, disposal, and installation of a new roof on Bldg 806 at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Duration of the Task Order is no longer than one hundred eighty days (180 day). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, and the annual size standard is $33,500,000. The estimated price range of this requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. It is the Regional Contracting Offices intent to award a firm-fixed price Task Order. The Task Order will be awarded under the authority of FAR 16.505. Regional Contracting Office Address: P.O. COORDINATE WITH ALL TRADES FOR COMPLETE MATERIALS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS. PERFORM ALL DEMOLITION REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT PLAN. ALL ROOF/WALL PENETRATIONS ARE TO BE WATERTIGHT. COORDINATE WITH FACILITY MANAGER FOR PARKING, STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS AS TO MINIMIZE INTERRUPTIONS OF ACTIVITIES OPERATIONS. THE WORK OF THIS CONTRACT SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE CODES OR STANDARDS. ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MOST RECENT ADOPTED EDITION OF THE CODES OR STANDARDS LISTED BELOW: "USACE SAFETY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENT MANUAL EM 385-1-1 "NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) "INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE "INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (IBC) "INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE (IPC) "NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE (NEC) "NATIONAL ELECTRIC SAFETY CODE (NESC) "INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE (IMC) "SHEET METAL & AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION, INC. (SMACNA) "EPA STANDARDS "OSHA STANDARDS BUILDING 806 IS CURRENTLY USED AS A VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY AND MAY OR MAY NOT BE OCCUPIED DURING THE RENOVATION. THE WORKERS WILL BE SUBJECT TO STANDARD SECURITY REGULATIONS. THE DUST RESULTING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL BE CONTROLLED TO PREVENT MIGRATION THROUGHOUT THE BUILDINGS INTERIOR AND SURROUNDING OUTSIDE AREAS. COORDINATE OUTAGES AND POSSIBLE INTERFERENCES WITH ACTIVITIES WITH THE BUILDINGS OCCUPANTS. DISCONNECT EXISTING UTILITIES AND EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED BY THE WORK REQUIREMENTS AND UPON COMPLETION, RECONNECT UTILITIES TO FULLY OPERATIONAL CONDITION IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPROPRIATE CODES. AT NO TIME WILL THE CONTRACTORS WORK, STORAGE OF MATERIALS, PARKING OF VEHICLES OR OTHER ACTIVITIES BE ALLOWED TO INTERFERE WITH THE WORK ACTIVITIES, WITHOUT PRIOR COORDINATION, OF GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT OR PRIVATE PROPERTY. THE CONTRACTORS MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND DEBRIS SHALL NOT BE STORED WITHIN TWENTY (20) FEET OF ANY OCCUPIED BUILDING, OBSTRUCT FIRE EXITS OR OTHERWISE INTERFERE WITH FIRE FIGHTING FACILITIES. ANY MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT OR VEHICLES DOING SO WILL BE REMOVED AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE. NO ACCUMULATION OF DEBRIS WILL BE PERMITTED OUTSIDE OF CONTAINERS; OUTSIDE AREA SHALL BE CLEANED UP DAILY. ALL MATERIALS RELATED TO THIS PROJECT SHALL BE REMOVED FROM SITE AND VISIBLE SIGHTS OF PROJECT WILL BE REPAIRED TO MATCH EXISTING SURFACES PRIOR TO FINAL INSPECTION. ALL WELDING AND/OR USE OF FLAME PRODUCING DEVICES SHALL BE CLEARED THROUGH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. ANY AND ALL HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ENCOUNTERED SHALL BE REMOVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL REGULATIONS. REFUSE AND DEBRIS SHALL BE REMOVED AND TRANSPORTED TO A LEGAL DUMPSITE IN A MANNER THAT PREVENTS SPILLAGE ON STREETS OR ADJACENT AREAS. ALL CONSTRUCTION PERMITS, FEES AND COORDINATION OF ANCILLARY ITEMS SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. SCOPE OF WORK PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT TO PERFORM RENOVATION AND NEW WORK TO BUILDING 806 NORTH BAY. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: VEHICLE, PERSONNEL, MAKE-UP AIR, AND OFFICE EXHAUST SYSTEMS, DUCTWORK, ACCESSORIES, ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL POWER AND CONTROLS TO THE EXTENT SPECIFIED IN THE DRAWINGS INCLUDING SYSTEM BALANCING, ADDITION OF PANELS, ELECTRICAL POWER, ETC.; PERFORM MISCELLANEOUS ROOM REPAIRS SUCH AS WALL/CEILING RESTORATION (PATCH/FILL/REPLACE) AND REFINISHING. CONSTRUCT NEW OFFICE SPACE IDENTIFIED IN THE DRAWINGS. WORK INCLUDES THE IDENTIFICATION AND MITIGATION OF HAZMATS AFFECTING THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS PROJECT, DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF FEATURES NOTED ON THE DEMOLITION DRAWINGS AND INCIDENTAL TO PERFORMING NEW OR RENOVATION WORK AS DEFINED IN THE DRAWINGS PREPARED BY DPW AND TITLED: RENOVATE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE BLDG. 806, FORT RICHARDSON, ALASKA.
