- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. There is however a bid schedule as an attachment to this announcement. Request for Quote Q9280090403 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and is being issued as an RFQ. This proposed procurement action is 100%set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339950 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The National Park Service has a requirement to fabricate and deliver signs to Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco, ID. See the attached drawings for the specifications and the bid schedule for the pricing. The pricing shall include all crating and shipping costs to Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco, Idaho. Delivery of the signs will be within ten (10) weeks after the receipt of order. The vendor is responsible for all inspection and quality control of the manufactured signs. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses of those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. The FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, applies to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The FAR clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this combined synopsis/solicitation and the award will be made on the basis of price only.
