- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Sponsored Research and EducationSupport Services which was posted on July 10, 2009. You are notified that the followingchanges are made: 1. The description of the contractor's responsibilities identified in the synopsis isrevised to read: The contractor will manage, be responsible for, and provide databasemanagement support to all organizational components of NASA Headquarters in support ofthe Agency's sponsored research and education outreach process. The contractor willsupport education/outreach initiatives that provide opportunities for participating inNASA's research programs to minority institutions, such as Historically Black Collegesand Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and Tribal Colleges;support activities ancillary to soliciting research objectives; operate, maintain, anddevelop enhancements to an end-to-end web-based electronic system that supports thesubmission, evaluation, and selection of research proposals; and monitor grant progressand track grant funding. 2. The URL for the SRESS bidders library is corrected to read: www.hq.nasa.gov/sressThe due date for responses is not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/HQ Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=04 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments.
