- The Detroit District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be soliciting for a project that shall include, but not be limited to, clearing vegetation on the outside eastern perimeter dike (approximately 17,000 linear feet), and placing additional stone on the road that goes along the western perimeter dike from the entrance to the start of cell 5 (approximately 13,000 linear feet) at the Rouge River Confined Disposal Facility (CDF). The estimated cost of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1 million. The project is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 237990, with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price construction contract as a result of the pending solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about 27 July 2009. To download the solicitation, visit www.fbo.gov.
