Description: Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide personnel to serve as role players in the execution of training scenarios for units deploying. Training exercises will take place at Fort Lewis, WA, and Yakima Training Center (YTC), WA. Role players shall replicate various positions and groups of people in possible situations units may face during deployments. There are three major types of role players; General Role Players (GRP), Foreign Language Speaking Role Players (FLSRP), and Detainees Role Players (DRP). A complete performance work statement will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will result in the award to a single contractor of a firm-fixed price requirements contract with Labor Hours Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). The anticipated period of performance is 1 December 2009 through 30 November 2010 for a base period plus two one-year option periods. This procurement is 100% set aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-09-R-0026. The applicable NAICS code is 561320 and the small business size standard is $ 13.5 million. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The solicitation will also be posted on the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is 23 July 2009 and the anticipated closing date is 24 August 2009. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times.
