- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to: Delta Western., P.O. Box 79018, Seattle, WA, 98119-7918. Solicitation shall be issued using number Q9796090075. Delta Western in King Salmon will supply up to 5,000 gallons of unleaded fuel and up to 7,000 gallons of 100LL AV Gas fuel over a 3-month period distributed on as needed basis to Katmai National Park and Preserve, King Salmon Alaska 99613. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $65,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office requires the Unleaded Fuel and AV gas to operate park vehicles, boats, and airplanes The National Park Service (NPS) requires the purchase of this on an as needed basis to be picked up by NPS fuel trucks and delivered to various bulk tanks located inside the park. Most of Katmai National Park and Preserve is wilderness and road less, boats and planes are needed to reach these remote locations. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This supply will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
