- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-09-G-0013 to Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK), Clearwater, FL for the upgrade of approximately one hundred sixty two (162) AN/AAR-47 dash 1 Sensors (PN 3313-AS-700-1) to the AN/AAR-47A(V)2 dash 3 Sensors (PN 3313-AS-700-3), approximately twenty six (26) AN/AAR-47 dash 3 Computer Processors (PN: 3313-AS-300-3) to AN/AAR-47A(V)2 dash 5 Computer Processors (PN: 3313-AS-300-5), and approximately four (4) AN/AAR-47 Test Set (PN 3315-AS-900-1) to the AN/AAR-47 O-level Test Set (PN: 3313-AS-850-1) for US ARMY, US Air Force, and FMS Italy urgent fielding requirements, including but not limited to all labor & materials. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to ATK in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because ATK is the sole designer developer and manufacturer of the AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers.
