Description: This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation number F3H1E19134A002 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be good for one month after the closing post date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415. The business size standard is 750 employees. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following items: Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) -Must provide cooling for a total equipment load of 178,710 BTUs (~14.9 tons) -Unit must maintain an ambient room temperature of +22 degrees C + / - 1 degree C -Unit must maintain humidity at 60% + / - 5% Items should be shipped 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to Offutt AFB, NE 68113 Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. Offers are due by 1:00 p.m. CST Wednesday 15 July 2009. Quotations must be good for one month after the closing post date. 1) Is the Unit Upflow or Down flow? Down flow 2) Is this an Air cooled, water cooled or chilled water style unit? Air Cooled. 3) Is a floorstand required? If so, how high? Yes, interior until will be on a 12" raised floor. 4) What is the voltage? 208V 60Hz 5) Are reheat and humidifier required? Yes, but humidifier shall be stand alone and require no supply water as none is provided in the MILCON. 6) Smoke detector? Should be standard equipment to shut down the unit if smoke is detected. 7) Disconnect switch? As required by the NEC. 8) Condensate pump? Yes, a condensate pump is required to overcome a minimum 15 foot lift with an approximately 80 foot pipe run and an estimated 6 elbows. The condensate line will be 3/4" copper.
