Description
Amendment 0003: Question #5: "Since your customer requested polycarbonate eye wear they will not be able to have 80% Visible Light Transmission. The maximum will be 30% VLT The only way we can get a higher light transmission is to go with a Glass Filter which is more expensive. Please ask you customer if they want glass or if they are OK with the 30% light transmission." ANSWER: See response to Question #3 in Amendment 0002. END/AMENDMENT 0003/// Amendment 0002: Question #3: "Regarding the response to question #2 in the amendment0001: the lenses/frame must have a wide field of view, yes, but does the statement that "the maximum blockage would be 20%" refer to the obstruction of the frame or the Visible Light Transmittance of the lens? To what does "the minimum of 80% visible light" refer"? ANSWER: Lenses shall maintain a full field of view when worn over prescription glasses or alone, and at times when the wearer is working in low light conditions. *** Take this next statement OUT: "The maximum blockage would be 20%, or at a minimum 80% visible light."
