- RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SWD HUBZONE MATOC POOL (Overland Corp. W9126G-09-D-0033, Mapco W9126G-09-D-0034, Trevino Group W9126G-09-D-0035, Lakeshore W9126G-09-D-0036, and FPM Inc W9126G-09-D-0037) The work to be performed is to construct new an approximate 18,000 SF addition and alterations to approximately 12,000 SF of the existing Lackland AFB Child Development Center. The facility is a single story steel frame structure with reinforced concrete foundation, masonry walls, and standing seam roof. Project includes but is not limited to HVAC systems, fire protection, electrical, communications, parking, and play areas. The facility will be constructed in strict accordance with Air Force Child Development Center design criteria, in addition to current anti-terrorist/force protection standards. EPAC2007 and USGBC LEED Silver criteria will be followed for design. It is intended the DB Contractor be able to document and certify this addition thru the USGBC for LEED certification.
