Description
The FAA has a requirement for Phase III ramp repairs. This work includes the provision to supply all labor, equipment, tools and materials to complete the project in accordance with the drawings and intent of project. Intent of project: Repaving of an existing asphalt shoulder, replacement of grass areas with asphalt paving, one 15" thick slab replacement, drainage swale across the new asphalt and existing grass are to an existing catch basin, crack sealing in concrete sidewalk, joint sealing of sawed joints, and topsoil and seeding of disturbed areas. On the east side of the Hangar, removal and replacement of an existing catch basin, grate and the replacement of the 15" thick slab. Options #1 and #2 for repairs to mid-slab cracks may be exercised during the life of the contract if funding allows. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. There is no guarantee that an award will be made as a result of this announcement. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside under NAICS code 237310. The successful offeror must qualify as a small business under this NAICS code. ******There is a MANDATORY site visit on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00PM for all vendors interested in proposing on this requirement. Vendors who do not attend the site visit will not be eligible to receive award under this announcement. In order to attend the site visit, each vendor must email the Contracting Specialist, Allison Ross, at allison.ross@faa.gov NLT 12:00PM on July 15, 2009. The email must include the company name, the name of each individual attending the site visit and that individual's contact info. All participants in the site visit will meet at 2:00PM at the Security Operations Center, Building 320, located near the main entrance to the Center.*************
