- SOLICITATION NO. RMA00090020 DESCRIPTION: SUPPLY AND INSTALL heat pumps and air handler units in eight (8) government furnished residential homes and two (2) office spaces (TOTAL OF 10 UNITS). Homes range in square footage from a minimum of 1,200 sq ft up to 2,500 sq ft. Homes/office are equipped with 200 amp service and two units are 100 amp. Installation to include labor costs, wiring, additional equipment costs and Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) tax if applicable. Bidders/Offerors shall ascertain information regarding TERO fees and employment requirements by contacting the TERO Director at 605-245-2221. * Unit must meet energy efficient standards and specifiations. * Units must be conducive to weather conditions and identified zone climate rating for area. The area has been rated as zone climate cold to very cold with temperatures falling to -30 to -25 degrees Fahrenheit according to the US Department of Energy. * Unit will serve as the sole heating source for each residential home; homes will not have any other identified source as back-up for cold weather conditions. * Unit must have a minimum seasonal efficiency rating (SEER) of 17 * Unit must have a minimum heating season performance factor rating (HSPF) of 9.0 * Descriptive Literature as identified in FAR 52.214-21 must be included with your quote Evaluation will be based on product literature, capacity of the item to meet the agency need and price. QUOTES FOR THE ABOVE CAN BE E-MAILED TO anita.bollen@bia.gov or faxed to 605-226-7741. QUOTES ARE DUE IN THE OFFICE BY C.O.B. 7/31/2009. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Great Plains Region is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RMA00090020 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-30. This is a small business set-aside the associated NAICS code is 423730, Warm Air Heating and Air-Conditioning Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers with the small business size standard of 100 employees. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues Or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; and 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature This will be a fixed price contract with an estimated price range of $50,000 - $100,000.
