- SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic Charleston intends to issue a sole source contract toShafer Electronic Solutions, 804 West Doty Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483-3744forUSB Enabled Miniature Rugged Data Controller with mounting bracket and wiringharness and Radio Direction Finder Calibration Unit (land and vehicle based).Shafer Electronic Solutions, is the manufacturer of the existing USB EnabledMiniature Rugged Data Controller and Radio Direction Finder Calibration Unitthat are currently used in ETI (Evolutionary Technology Insertions) equipmentinsertions. These components fit the requirements for a serial line of bearing(LOB) converter and can also provide calibration adjustments compatible withthe existing system. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North AmericanIndustry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999 and the size standard is500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
