- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with The Advisory Board, 2445 M St NW, Washington DC 20037 for membership to provide research briefs on progressive management and clinical practices in health care focusing on best and worst demonstrated practices while helping member institutions to benefit from one anothers learning curves. The period of performance for this procurement will be June 15, 2009 through June 14, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 813410 with a size standard of $7 mil. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer by fax 478-274-5588. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
