Description
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Scottsbluff, NE, has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 645129Q045. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-33, effective 6/15/2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 423520 with a business size standard of 500. This requirement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Line Item 1: 18 inch Riprap - 2000 tons of 18" riprap$_________________ Line Item 2: 2 Inch Rock - 437.5 tons of 2" rock. $_________________ Line Item 3: Delivery charge$_________________ Note: If the location of Line Item 1 or 2 above is within 30 miles of Kirwin NWR, the Government has the right to haul the riprap/rock using Government truck and trailer and forego the contractor's delivery charge. Also, one complete delivery is not required, however, final delivery must be made no later than September 30, 2010. In addition to providing pricing on the above items, your quote should provide an estimated delivery date. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/RFQ. Quotes must be received no later than close of business (4 p.m. MDT), July 14, 2009, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife, 115 Railway Street, Suite C109, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non-responsible in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are price only. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Also included in this acquisition are the following clauses: 52.204-7, 52.215-5, 52.225-01, 52.232-1, 52.233-1, 52.243-1, 52.246-20, 52.252-5, 52.252-6, FWS 1452.204-1, DOI 1452.212-1, and DOI 1452.242-7. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies.
