- Drawing-2 Battery Aluminum Vented Enclosure, Hinged Cover, Pole Mount This is a sources sought, market research announcement for 40 each 2-Battery Aluminum Vented Enclosures, Direct Power & Water (DPW)-BB2-GRP30-HC/PM, Two Battery Box (side by side), Pole Mount, White Powder Coat Outdoor, or Equivalent. Delivery to be 30 days from date of award. Delivery to be to U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Atmospheric Diffusion Division, 456 S. Illinois Ave., Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The enclosure must meet the following requirements: 2-battery aluminum vented enclosures which accommodates two 100 Amp Hour Batteries side by side; Type 5052-H32 aluminum construction; Welded and ground seams for high degree of environmental protection; Continuous hinge for smooth door operation/vandal resistance; Padlock handle for security; Polyester powder coat outdoor rated-finish; Pole mountable. Application: Battery cabinet suitable for solar powered systems. Designed to meet or exceed the following industry standards: UL50 type 3R; Nema type 3R; Thermal Management: Convection air circulation. Minimum required enclosure dimensions: 16" Width x 15" Depth x 20" Height. Drawing attached. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond the requirement or submit proposals. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. All firms responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). NAICS code is 335999, small business size standard is 500 employees, applies to the procurement. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212.3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, must be submitted with your offer. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions-Commercial Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. If offering an equal product, provide sufficient technical/descriptive product literature for technical evaluation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive offeror who can meet specific requirements and is most advantageous to the Government considering price and other price related factors.
