- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912J7-09-T-0013. Questions: Line Items 001,002 and 003 each call for a generator for each tent structure. Are the tents required to have their own generators or will they be placed close enough together to allow several structures to operate off of a single generator? All of the tents 20 X 20 tents and 40 x 40 tents will be located in the same location. The tents can be configured minimize the power requirements. The Power can be chained for the tents. The feeding tent will be approximately 500 meters away. If so, can you provide us with an approximate layout so that we can determine the actual number and size of generators needed? On The attached lay out the mess tent is the location of the 100 x 200 area, the 20 x 20 and 40 x 40 are located in the same area. Tents can be configured to minimize generator requirements. When do you expect to award this contract? COB 10th July 2009. Line item 0001 Generator and cooling to be optional quotation. If a separate generator is required for the cooling unit Yes. Cooling unit is an option. Line items 0002 & 0003 Are there other power requirements for the generator other than the lights and ventilation? NO. If so, what are the requirements (amps/volts each machine)? Are all tents located in the same area within close proximity to each other? See Above How far apart are they? See Above What ambient temperature are you looking to maintain in the dining facility if you choose to go with the optional cooling unit? 80 Degrees
