- This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses [SEDB 8(a)] certified by the Small Business Administration. The purpose of this requirement is to seek qualified contractors to furnish a technical proposal to design and install a frame with glass at the Temporary Opa Locka Airport Traffic Control Tower, Opa Locka, FL in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The FAA intends to award a firm fixed price contract. All companies submitting a proposal must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base at http://www.ccr.gov before an award can be made North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330, the size standard is: $4.5 Million There will be one mandatory site meeting scheduled for July 21, 2009 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time). Site meeting will be at the temporary Air Traffic Control Tower at Opa Locka, FL Airport.
