Description
A pre-solicitation notice and request for responsible sources who can perform the following service is hereby requested: The Contractor shall provide all resources except Government Furnished Property (GFP) to perform Full Food Service (FFS), Dining Facility Attendant (DFA) Services, Management and Food Production (M&FP) Services in Romania (MK) Mihail Kogalniceanu Airbase TF-E DFAC, Building P2000, Str. Vasile Lupu Nr. 1, 907195 Mihail Kogalniceanu that is in the vicinity of the seaport of Constanza and immediately adjacent to the Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport, and also at the Babadag Training Area (BTA) in support of US and Coalition Forces as specified in this Statement of Work (SOW). Furthermore, rations shall be provided to US and Coalition forces located in Novo Selo, Bulgaria or as directed by the ACO/COR as required. The Contractor shall perform these services for the period of performance specified in this SOW. the US Government gives no guarantee of future services and reserves the right to terminate this contract for either default or convenience. The Contractor shall operate a kitchen at or near MK Airbase and feed up to 1000 personnel, 3 hot A meals daily with the option to expand based on schedules and surge requirements during peak periods and decrease to support a minimum of 50 average headcounts during warm basing periods. All interested and capable sources are requested to submit their interest and capabilities statement to the attention of MAJ Jeyasingam at jeyanthan.jeyasingam@eur.army.mil by 10 July 2009. Only written inquiries and responses will be accepted. We are seeking all interested and capable sources in order to develop an initial source list for this requirement and because the response time for submitting an offer once the solicitation is issued will be of a very shortduration. This solicitation is for services in support of contingency operations and therefore the solicitation and award of the resultant contract must be made in an expedient manner. Please see the draft SOW attached herein for more specifics on this requirement.
