- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to issue a commercial sole source contract to Michigan Wheel Corporation, 1501 Buchanan Avenue, Grand Rapids, MI 49507-1697. The proposed acquisition is for thirteen (13) each Propellers. The Navy does not have the data that would be required for any other manufacturer to produce these propellers without requiring First Article testing, the cost of which would greatly exceed the total value of the procurement. In accordance with FAR 13.5, a Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 331525 and the size standard is 500 empoyees.
