- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within the city limits, and downtown/central Syracuse, New York and within.4 miles of a direct bus route from the halfway house, located at 701 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse, New York. The treatment location should be no further north than Lodi and Butternuts Streets, no further east than Teall Avenue, no further south than East Adams Street, and no further west than Salina Street. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 35: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 35 inmates = 35 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 35 inmates = 840 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 35 = 2,520 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmates = 1; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 units; Psychotropic Medication =20 Perscriptions; Medication Monitoring 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009. The request for quotation will be available on or after July 9, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov.
