- Description
- The Modoc National Forest intends to acquire services for the Blue Mt. RMEF Stewardship contract. Work entails the mechanical harvest and removal of juniper and pine in the vicinity of Blue Mountain approximately 20 airmiles NW of Alturas on the Devel’s Garden Ranger District. Treatment areas are accessible by roads and slopes are mostly less than 10%. All juniper, except old growth will be cut and removed. Pine under 12” DBH will be thinned to a spacing specification. Contractor will be required to remove approximately 11,000 tons of non sawtimber and approximately 325 CCF sawtimber (10-12” DBH). This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or around July 16, 2009.
