- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure for the Directed Energy Laboratory one (1) each 10-Bit CMOS High Speed Monochrome Digital Camera System, Cooke Corporation PN PCO.1200HS; one (1) each 1427e Camera Link Frame Grabber, National Instruments PN 779706-01; and one (1) each Camera Link Cable, 3M PN CBL-CL-3M. The camera system must contain the following specifications: 10-bit camera head with 1280x1024 format; 4GB on-board camera memory; pixel size - 12.0 microns square; 10 bit digitization (up to 1024 gray scale counts); maximum dynamic range 59.6dB; 66 and 86 MHz read speeds; 636 fps at full resolution; integration time 1 microsecond - 5 seconds; interframing time 75 nanoseconds; internal/external trigger plus or minus 5V TTL. The PCO 1200 series image head is required to provide high speed beam profiling capability to support laser characterization efforts here at NSWCDD. The PCO image head provides data acquisition consistency between NSWCDD and the Army for joint efforts in beam profiling and characterization. The requirement is being sole sourced to The Cooke Corporation, 6930 Metroplex Drive, Romulus, MI 48174-2000. The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-09-Q-3041. The required delivery is 4-6 weeks after receipt of order. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The NAICS Code is 423410 and the FSC Code is 6760. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 10 July 2009, 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time. Anticipated award date is 13 July 2009.
