Description
The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System, Gainesville, FL intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis a GraftTracker Human Tissue grafts "Application Service Provider" (ASP) System, 765 Ela Road, Suite 200, Lake Zurich, IL 60047-2385. Equipment is for the VA Medical Center Operating Room, Gainesville, FL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor or product will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge Champion Medical Technologies is the only company that can provide this specific equipment. The GraftTracker Human Tissue grafts "Application Service Provider" (ASP) System is the only product/service that is approved for tissue tracking whose facilities and systems have been inspected by the United States Food and Drug Administration, (NAICS 423430). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the NF/SG VHS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Champion Medical Technologies as noted herein. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
