- Description
- This is a notice of intent to procure a single source contract with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 5359 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS 66203 for the rental of large passenger vans, sedans, minivans, trucks, and cargo vans. The contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.301(a) “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Enterprise is the only known vendor who can provide the quantity of vehicles needed for the training exercise that will be held at the Battle Command Training Center 8 Sherman Ave FT Leavenworth, KS 66027. Interested persons who feel they can provide the number of vehicles needed may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Convincing evidence of your ability to provide these vehicles and your response to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM CDT, July 13th, 2009. The specific number of vehicles required is: For the period July 27th-Aug 9th, 2009 29 Sedans, 18 Large Passenger Vans, 15 Minivans, 2 Trucks, and 1 Cargo Van. For the Period July 29th – Aug 9, 2009: 4 Sedans, 28 Large Passenger Vans, and 13 Mini Vans. For the period Aug 4th – Aug 14th 2009: 15 Sedans, 35 Large Passenger Vans, 40 Minivans, and 34 SUV’s. The vendor will be required to deliver the vehicles to the KCI Expo Center the day before the usage start date and will be required to pick them up the day after the last date of usage. Any change shall be authorized only by the Contracting Officer and will be issued by written addendum.
